about

Not named after anything from the wonderful Dr. Horrible. If anything, named after Hamilton. Sure, that makes sense.

Originally called "Doomhammer." Thanks, Steven. (And Justin)

Actually written and recorded in two hours (on March 26, 2010) after hearing Steven bang on my keyboard and liking the melody. The lyrics, consequently, have no meaning. Or do they?

lyrics

I've been gone for so long
I forgot what my limits are
I forgot who I thought you are
But you knew just the same

You've been gone for so long
Not so much as your own guitar
No ability to go far
But you stayed just the same

Help me find out where the hammer falls

I've been gone for so long
Not so much as a quick goodbye
Too much for you to even try
But you cared just the same

You've been gone for so long
Too long for me to even care
And why would I even look there
But I cared just the same

Help me find out where the hammer falls

I've been gone for so long
Not so much as a quick goodbye
Too much for you to even try
Why?
Why don't you come clean?
