Michael Chadwick A great collection of vocal and instrumental rock that's easily capped by the pretentiously delicious "Elitist". Favorite track: Elitist.

Elitist 04:31
How can you be so simple So easy and so free So careless and so stupid With such insanity Your breaths all sound so lifeless The haze behind your eyes You'd pass for any scholar With your ignorant disguise And it's not for me to judge But you must forget your name And it's not my place to ask but do you think that we're the same? There's only two of us in here But there's only one seat You seem to be in your own world Stumbling over your own feet I don't know how you've gotten here Or why you think you're smart The kind of guy who drinks cheap beer And laughs at high-class art And it's not for me to judge But you must forget your name And it's not my place to ask but do you think that we're the same? Maybe it's just narcissism But I know I'm elite And I know you're the one that's wrong But we will never meet I'm always right and that's the truth And I know nothing else You can have your own ideas Feel free to go to hell And it's not for me to judge But you must forget your name And it's not my place to ask but do you think that we're the same? Maybe it's just narcissism But I know I'm elite And I know you're the one that's wrong But we will never meet I'm always right and that's the truth And I know nothing else You can have your own ideas Feel free to go to hell

Do I at least look crazy and sad Through the mess of tangled hair I know I can't help but stare Watching at the daylight, minus a sun The silent, dark, still air I'd give the world to care Every time I open my eyes Peek out from behind the rain Every speck of light has Too much beauty to contain Every time I open my door Walk out into the day Watch minutes fade to hours As the time just fades away You could start to write on bottles But why label me? Whatever fix you give Might change my will to live Might change my will to live Count the seconds left of light As you expect your home Count the hours left to wait As you await your phone To ring with news of happiness And playing in their games They're spreading joy and smiles While you chase away the rain You could start to write on bottles But why label me? Whatever fix you give Might change my will to live Might change my will to live

Fire 04:29
Stuck inside my cold illusion Thoughts of fame are running free Waves of fear are crashing onto, the shore A beach of safe insanity Only mirrors shy my eyes now The silver glass and piercing glare The ice is breaking from under my feet What waits below, I do not dare And it won't be quick and painless And it won't be easy but this Fire needs to light Repeating sound distracts me From battles raging in my mind But do I seek a cure, a remedy, Or merely wage war over time And it won't be quick and painless And it won't be easy but this Fire needs to light

about

My second solo album! Finally!

Not much to say about this one - a lot of riffs and bits and pieces put together from September 2010 until April 2011. Some impromptu jams, some prepared rock pieces, some electronic bits and random effects scattered throughout.

I spent a lot less time worrying about every note, and more time liking these songs.
