about
The second track to be finished on the album, and the first one to be fully written. The original idea is from April 2009, and a guitar-only instrumental version was done around June. The original guitar track is left in the final song. Lyrics and vocals were written and performed at 2 am on some November weekend.

Originally called Evolution, with the second part (the ending with all of the fun solo-y bits) to be called Revolution. Nah, not as fun.
lyrics
Already past 3 am
As usual, I'm late again
Attention span is drawing thin
Remember what state I'm in

Today,
One can only hope for life to be
At the end of this rope
No time to waste, no better place to be
Than anywhere but here

Activity outside your door
Left her house, and wanting more
Wasting time, but no place to go
So instead, instead... no, things never change

Do they?
One can only hope for life to be
At the end of this rope
No time to waste, no better place to be
Than anywhere but here

I snap from behind your door
I can't take this anymore
